O vinho Tâmara surge como um oásis, o fruto desejado, que nos traz a frescura do Tejo em momentos que queremos eternizar.

"De cor avermelhada e polpa fibrosa, pressupõe-se que a Tâmara tenha origem na zona desértica do Médio Oriente. O nome que ainda hoje é dado ao fruto – Dactylifera – vem da palavra grega dactylos, que significa dedos. Em árabe, a palavra tâmara significa dedo de luz, devido à sua forma e transparência luminosa.”

Date – the desert fruit

Tâmara (date) wine suggests an oasis, a desired fruit that recalls freshness from theTagus river in moments we want to cherish forever.

“With areddish color and fibrous pulp, dates are thought to have originated in the desert area of the Middle East. The name still given to the fruit today – Dactylifera – comes from the greek word dactylos, which means fingers. In Arabic, the word date means finger of light, due to its shape and luminous transparency.”
